CLOUD SEED

Commissioned by Schnitzer West

Sculpture location: New building in Bellevue, WA at the corner of NE 8th Street & 106th Avenue NE

The sculpture will be installed on the building’s exterior in February 2025.

Cast in aluminum and suspended under a high corner alcove in the building, Cloud Seed will be 22 feet high by 8.5 feet by 6.5 feet.

Cloud Seed will take the form of an elongated cumulonimbus cloud built with a web of delicate parts inspired by a microscopic vantage of cloud formation.
